Interests
The Club's interest is Target Shooting in Smallbore Rifle and Pistol, including both .22 Rimfire and .177 & .22 Air Guns.
The .22 Range is 20 Yards, for Prone, Standing and Kneeling, and the Air Gun Range is both 6 yards and 10 Metres. We also shoot Pistol and Sporting ifle at 20 yards emulating most of the old .22 Pistol disciplines.
Shooting
Shooting is mainly done on a postal basis.
We are affiliated to the National Smallbore Rifle Association, the National Rifle Association, the Cumbria & Northumbria Target Shooting Association, and the Ulster Counties S.B.R.A.
Any prospective member is encouraged to participate in the postal competitions, which are held all year round.
Open Shoots
Shoulder to shoulder shoots are held occasionally, and members travel to Open Shoots both locally and nationally.
We hold a .22 Prone Rifle Open Shoot each November, which attracts entries from all parts of the country, and an Air Guns Open Shoot in March which has been a very successful as an NSRA Nominated Meeting for the last few years.

- Tuesday 7.30 - 9.30p.m. .22 Rifle (Prone) Winter only!
- Thursday 7.30 - 9.30p.m. 10 Metre/6Yards Air Rifle & Air Pistol.
- Friday 7.30 - 9.30p.m. 10 Metre/6Yards Air Rifle & Air Pistol.
- Saturday 7.30 - 9.30p.m. 20 yard Pistol and Sporting Rifle.
- In the summer months outdoor shooting is also available at 50 metres & 100 yards.
